I’m Anna McCarthy-Birch, founder and therapist at McCarthy Skin Clinic. I knew from as young as 15 that I wanted to be a facialist. My own battle with spot-prone skin throughout my teenage years and into adulthood shaped my journey. I understand first-hand how deeply your skin can affect your confidence.
Facials became part of my life early on, and when I began using a proper skincare routine at home, everything changed. My skin improved, and so did the way I felt about myself. That personal transformation ignited a lifelong passion.
After school, I trained in beauty therapy at college, always knowing I wanted to open my own business, and that dream became a reality in 2007! 18 years later, I still genuinely love coming to work every day.
